Flowering

Hi All,

This is my first time on forum. Can anyone help, I have a small courtyard in Brighton and all my plants are in sheltered area and in pots.

My plant are very happy but do not flower except the ginger lillies which get very big. Can anyone advise what I should do to get flowers?

See below list of my plants

Trithrinax Camestris
Trachcarpus Wagnerianus
Trachycarpus fortunei
Chamaerops humilis Cerifera
Canna's
Ginger lollies
NewZealand Flax
Cordyline (red star)
Pink Yukka
Monkey Puzzle
Sago Palm
Aloe Striatula

thank you,

Sharon

  • Most of your plants are very exotic palm-type plants, which don't flower very often, with the exception of the Canna's, which should flower annually (sometimes twice if you deadhead them after the first flowering). Even if your Flax/Sago Palms, etc do flower, these will probably be quite unspectacular.
  • Welcome here, and if you have no knowledge toward the flower then you can simply ask to expert here https://instaflora.net/en-gb/saint-petersburg/ or get ordered yourself flower which will be beneficial and give you peace of mind after being around them
